Domain and hosting are different
The domain is the address people use. Hosting provides the server environment for the website files and database. Professional email may be provided through the same company or a separate service.
Check your proposal
When a package includes a domain or hosting for the first year, the inclusion applies to the period and services listed in the proposal. Additional domains, premium names, mailbox upgrades and other services may cost extra.
Plan renewals
Renewals are separate from the initial website development fee unless your agreement states otherwise. Confirm the renewal amount, owner account and payment date before the service expires.
Keep access organised
Keep account ownership, authorised contacts and recovery details current. Discuss backup and support responsibilities when the website is handed over.
